Acrylic Portraits: beloved

2019. 12” x 18” Acrylic on Canvas, Beloved: Odie

Odie was a friend’s family dog who cared nothing more than for pets and throwing ball. Over the years, Odie became a central source of refuge and delight for everyone he encountered. He his dead now, but his memory lives beyond.

2021. 11” x 14” Acrylic on Paste Board, “It’s for my momma”

Captured is the wonderful human being who brought my dear friend Henry into the world. He commissioned this for his momma to celebrate the backbone, light, and love she has instilled in him. The decoupaged flowers represent ‘Momma’s’ timeless essence, as these flowers are now captured in full bloom, her smile raining light down unto them.
